Govt Scheme Offers : Get Loan up to ₹3 Lakh at 5% Interest – Central Govt Benefit

Govt Scheme

Govt Scheme: For many years, traditional workers in India have been the base of society and economy. Carpenters, potters, goldsmiths, tailors, cobblers, masons, barbers, and other artisans have always served people with their skills. They also kept Indian traditions alive.

But in today’s time, these workers face many problems. They do not have enough money, resources, or recognition. To solve this issue, the Government of India launched the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana (PM Vishwakarma Yojana) on September 17, 2023.

Loan and Benefits

Under this scheme, artisans can get a loan of up to ₹3 lakh at a very low interest rate of only 5%. This loan is without any security.

They also get a modern toolkit worth ₹15,000. During training, they receive ₹500 per day as a stipend. Along with this, they get a PM Vishwakarma certificate and an ID card for proof.

The main aim of this scheme is to provide both respect and work opportunities. The government also wants the skills of artisans to pass on to the next generation. The vision is to make these skills reach from “local to global”.
